CCEC Receives the Marine Money “Green East Deal of the Year” Award 2025
Piraeus, May 29, 2026. We are pleased to announce that Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. (CCEC) has been recognized with the Green East Deal of the Year Award 2025 by Marine Money for the financing of the world’s first large liquid CO₂ carrier project.
The award highlights the collaborative financing framework developed together with ING and K-SURE, supporting the deployment of “Active”, the first in a series of four 22,000 cbm LCO₂ / Multi-Gas Carriers designed to support the emerging CCUS value chain.
This recognition reflects the collective effort behind advancing CO₂ transportation infrastructure and enabling new pathways for the maritime energy transition.
